For NPs, physicians, and small practices

Offer Suboxone without building a back office

Direction Recovery for Practices gives you the website, intake, patient tracking, drug-screen and compliance workflow, Medicaid and prior-auth tracking, and billing that a medication-assisted treatment program needs, run by people who have done this work for nearly a decade in West Virginia, Kentucky, and Ohio.

  • Built by MAT billing and credentialing people
  • WV, KY, and OH rules built in
  • Live in weeks, not quarters
  • Billing priced on collections

Why practices don't add Suboxone

It's rarely the medicine. Buprenorphine is safe, effective, and well reimbursed. What stops most NPs and small practices is everything around it.

The paperwork is different

Drug-screen schedules, counseling documentation, PDMP checks, consent forms, and state rules that don't match from WV to KY to OH. Miss one and it shows up in an audit or a clawback.

Patients fall through the cracks

Someone calls on Monday, isn't scheduled until the 22nd, and never shows. Or they're six months in, Medicaid lapses, the prior auth expires, and nobody notices until the pharmacy says no.

Billing MAT is its own skill

MAT and behavioral health claims get denied for reasons primary-care billers don't see coming. Most small practices leave real money on the table or give up.

What's included

Six pieces, one platform. Use all of it, or start with the website and pipeline and add the rest as you grow.

Branded website + online intake

A patient-facing site in your name, built on the same pages you're reading now: what to expect, Suboxone, insurance, FAQ, and a HIPAA-ready intake form that lands in your pipeline, not your inbox.

  • Your name, logo, and phone number
  • Online intake with insurance capture
  • Call-tracking number and text line
  • Hosted, maintained, and updated by us

Patient pipeline tracking

Every inquiry from first call to first visit to 90 days retained, in one view. See who hasn't been scheduled, who missed induction, and who is due for a follow-up today.

  • Lead → scheduled → inducted → retained
  • Daily task list for your front desk
  • No-show and lapse alerts
  • Referral source reporting

Drug-screen workflow

Screen schedules, results, and documentation that match what payers and state boards expect, so a positive result starts a conversation and a note, not an audit finding.

  • Frequency rules by phase of treatment
  • Random-selection scheduling
  • Result logging with clinical response templates
  • Confirmatory-test tracking

State compliance (WV / KY / OH)

The rules that differ by state are built in: PDMP checks, counseling and documentation requirements, telehealth prescribing rules, and the records a board or payer audit will ask for.

  • State-specific checklists per visit type
  • PDMP check reminders and log
  • Audit-ready chart completeness report
  • Policy and consent templates by state

Medicaid renewal + prior-auth tracking

Patients lose coverage mid-treatment and prescriptions stall on prior auths. We track renewal dates, PA expirations, and plan changes and flag them before they cost you a visit.

  • Eligibility re-checks before every visit
  • Renewal date calendar and outreach queue
  • PA submission, status, and expiration log
  • MCO change detection

Billing through RevWell

Claims, coding review, denials, and collections for MAT and behavioral health, handled by a team that has worked these codes for nearly a decade. Priced as a percentage of collections so our incentives match yours.

  • Charge entry and claim submission
  • Denial management and appeals
  • Payer credentialing support
  • Monthly collections report

How it works

Most practices are live within a few weeks. The timeline depends mostly on your credentialing status with Medicaid and the MCOs.

1

Discovery call

Thirty minutes. We look at your license, states, payers, and current patient flow, and tell you plainly whether this is a fit.

2

Site and intake build

We build your branded site and intake on our template, set up your call-tracking number, and connect intake to your pipeline.

3

Workflow setup

Drug-screen schedule, state checklists, consent and policy templates, and renewal and PA tracking configured for your state and payer mix.

4

Billing and credentialing

If you add RevWell, we verify credentialing with each payer, set up charge capture, and start submitting claims from the first visit.

5

Go live and review

Your front desk gets a daily task list. On Practice and Group plans we review the pipeline with you every week.

Built for the rules in your state

We launched in the tri-state area because that's where we've spent our careers. Each state's requirements are maintained as a checklist inside the workflow, and we update them when the rules change.

West Virginia WV

Office-based MAT program requirements, PDMP (CSAPP) checks, counseling and documentation standards, and Medicaid MCO rules.

Kentucky KY

KASPER checks, buprenorphine prescribing regulations for physicians and APRNs, and Kentucky Medicaid MCO requirements.

Ohio OH

OARRS checks, Ohio Board rules for office-based opioid treatment, and Ohio Medicaid managed-care plan requirements.

Compliance tools support your clinical and legal judgment; they don't replace it. You remain responsible for meeting your state's requirements.

Simple pricing

Three plans by practice size, plus billing as an optional add-on priced on collections. No setup fee on annual plans.

Who this is for

  • Nurse practitioners and PAs who want to add Suboxone to a primary care or psychiatric practice
  • Physicians starting a MAT practice without hiring a full back office
  • Small group practices that want one system for intake, compliance, and billing
  • FQHCs, behavioral health agencies, and hospital-affiliated clinics adding or scaling MAT
  • Practices that already prescribe and are tired of audits, denials, and lapsed patients

Who it isn't for

  • Opioid treatment programs (methadone clinics), which operate under a different regulatory structure
  • Practices outside WV, KY, and OH, for now. Join the list and we'll tell you when your state is ready.
  • Anyone looking for an EHR replacement. We run alongside your EHR, not instead of it.

Questions practices ask

Does this replace my EHR?

No. Your charting stays in your EHR. The platform handles what happens around the chart: intake, scheduling follow-through, screens, compliance checklists, coverage tracking, and billing. We export to common EHRs and can work from a shared spreadsheet if that's where you are today.

Do I have to use RevWell for billing?

No. Billing is an add-on. You can run the platform with your own biller. Most practices that try RevWell stay, because MAT denials are a specialty.

What do I need to get started?

An active license in WV, KY, or OH, a DEA registration, and either existing Medicaid enrollment or a willingness to let us help you get it. You don't need an existing website or any patients.

Is the platform HIPAA compliant?

Yes. We sign a Business Associate Agreement with every practice, and all patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The website intake form is HIPAA-ready, not a generic form builder.

How long is the contract?

Month to month, with a discount for annual plans. Billing through RevWell is a separate agreement priced on collections.

Can I see it before I commit?

Yes. Book a demo and we'll walk you through a live pipeline, the compliance checklist for your state, and a sample billing report.

See it with your own numbers
